Yes, the log was originally a screenshot, which was extracted using the tool. I didn't notice this. Here's the original picture; The source command line does not have the -6 option.

That output seems edited. It should be a number, not an "O".
You don't have the -6 option on the chronyd command line, right?
I'm not sure what could cause getaddrinfo() to work differently for the chronyd process.
