chrony.conf is read when chronyd starts and not ever again. If you want to change stuff on the fly, use chronyc

Hello,

I edited /etc/chrony.conf, and changed minpoll and maxpoll to 10 as
following.

But Update interval and Poll did not change as following.

After rebooting the machine Update interval changed to 2.1 seconds, and Poll
changed to 10.
I waited for a while, Update interval changed to 1029.9 seconds.

[Question 1]
Why did the Update interval change to the very short time(2.1 seconds)?

[Question 2]
Does it take time to reflect the setting change?

Thanks,
