Yes, but it would be an incompatible change, breaking existing
clients. It would be useful. My use case would be support for adding
NTP servers from the DHCPv6 option which provides hostnames (unlike IP
addresses in DHCP).
Also, we will probably need some support for hostnames in the protocol
for NTS, which requires the hostname to verify the certificate. At
least for the "add" command. The question is how to do it without
breaking compatibility.
