Hello,
For years now ntpdate is deprecated for, but I still use it. It does two
things that can not be done otherwise:
1. Sync the local clock once with a single command, without the
necessity to write a config file
2. Determine the offset of the local clock compared to a time server
with a single command (option -q).
Would it be desirable to add these functions to chronyd?
Regards,
Frank
